2023 Urgent Climate Action
global warming impact

The global warming crisis has exponentially escalated in recent years. The heavy use of fossil fuels and lack of sustainability are causing a significant rise in toxic gases in our atmosphere. This pollution is hurting the animals, the people, and the planet. “More intense heatwaves, heavier rainfall and other weather extremes further increase risks for human health and ecosystems. In the last decade, deaths from floods, droughts and storms were 15 times higher in highly vulnerable regions.” There are a few changes that can be made in our day to day lives that can have a positive effect and reduce the greenhouse gas emissions!

Check out our EcoEducation page for Gaia’s tips on what can be done!
